He started out at Micromass UK in the factory as a Systems Test & Installation Engineer on MALDI products and later became a Systems Test & Installation Supervisor on Q-ToF products. Matt later moved to Sydney, Australia with Waters to become a Senior FSE and later a Service Supervisor for NSW region. After Waters, Matt joined Sciex as a Senior FSE.

Marcel has 15 plus years of experience in managing, designing and conducting technical training on TripleQuad and QTOF instrumentation for SCIEX and close to 20 years of service experience on LC/MS instrumentation. Previous professional experience include field service support of AAS, FIA, ICP-AES; and field project management/service support of scientific instrumentation used in geo-engineering and hydraulics research. Marcel’s background is Electronics Engineering.

Stephane has obtained his PhD at the Technical University of Munich (Germany) in Environmental Chemistry. He has overall 15 years of experience in mass spectrometry. He worked 10 years in R&D at the development of mass spectrometer prototypes (inlet, ionization sources, ToF and Ion-Trap techniques) in academics. He deployed and operated mass spectrometer prototypes in the context of environmental sciences in laboratory and field measurement campaigns. He joined Sciex in September 2013 as Technical Trainer at the Darmstadt Training Facility.

Poh Chuan received his Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore. He has over 14 years of experience working in the Mass spectrometry service and support and 4 years working in the Sciex Manufacturing facilities as technical Manager. Beth received her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has over 20 years’ experience in HPLC and Mass Spectrometry Applications Support. Most of those years were spent providing field support and training for Mass Spectrometer instruments including MALDI-TOF/TOF instruments and Triple TOF instruments and related software products. Most recently she managed in-house training activities for North America which included creating content and conducting training classes for all SCIEX mass spectrometers.

Steve received his PhD in Complex Mixture Analysis using Multiple Hyphenated Chromatographic and Spectroscopic Techniques from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK co-authoring 18 peer reviewed papers in the process. Steve spent the first half of his career working for the two largest Pharmaceutical companies in the UK in various analytical chemistry roles eventually becoming Head of the Structure Purity Group at AstraZeneca. Steve then switched tack to the MS provider business working for Waters (Micromass), Thermo and finally SCIEX in roles as lab manager, sales specialist in pharma and biopharma, R&D and now as sales training manager.
